Industrial RO Plants
Reverse osmosis (RO) is used to reduce dissolved solids from feed waters with salinities up to 45,000 ppm TDS (total dissolved solids). It offers one of the finest filtration known to date. Using a semi-permeable membrane under pressure, RO separates dissolved impurities from water by reversing the flow from a high salinity, or concentrated, solution to the high purity, or "permeate", stream on the opposite side of the membrane.
ScaleGuard offers a wide variety of RO-based water treatment systems with capacities ranging from 10 to 10,000 litres/hour.
